The Discord death post hides an invisible killer too.

Compared to v1.3.0: DiscordSRV builds its death post from its own copy of the message, so Discord still showed the real killer. v1.4.0 rewrites DiscordSRV's message before it is posted.

  • Discord death posts replace an invisible killer's name with discord-hidden-name (default ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓).

Adds a diagnostic for players losing Invisibility when hit.

Compared to v1.2.0: nothing in any plugin's code or config was found to remove Invisibility on a plain punch, so this logs it at runtime instead.

Added

  • debug-invisibility (on): logs each Invisibility removal or change with its cause and the plugin and method that triggered it, and logs when a player loses Invisibility within one tick of taking damage. It only logs.

v1.2.0 - 2026-10-04

Takes the v1.1.0 Invisibility guard back out.

Compared to v1.1.0: the "invis disappears in combat" reports were Paths passives making invisible players glow, fixed in RandomBayanPaths v1.13.5. Nothing was removing the potion, and the guard would have blocked abilities that strip Invisibility on purpose (Godslayer, the Assassin finisher). Death messages still hide an invisible killer's name.

  • When the player who made the kill has the Invisibility effect, their name in the death message becomes scrambled enchanting-table text, hover card included. Runs at HIGHEST so the DiscordSRV mirror shows the hidden version too.
